Spa Poppit® is another form of Sanitising your spa. Spa Poppit® active constituent is Hydrogen Peroxide 150g/L or 15% strength.
We still need to Balance the spa water as per Bromine treated Spas but we use the Spa Poppit® to “kill the bugs”
SPA START UP PROCEDURE - SPA POPPIT®
NB – DO NOT USE ANY CHLORINE BASED SANITISER OR FILTER CLEANER WHILST USING SPA POPPIT®

| Balanced water is necessary to ensure warranties are honoured on spa equipment such as gas heaters. Quantities are average requirements per 500ltrs of tap water for balanced water. Chemical balance is based on a temperature of 35-38 degrees: |

| Use of Quick Fix or Lo Chlor Oxygen Safe Shock Plus will ensure spa is kept in shape when not in use, however you must ensure with your test strips that Spa PoppitÒ is present before using the Spa. |
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- TEST pH AND SPA POPPIT. IF pH IS STILL HIGH ADD ½ Tsp. pH-REDUCER. ADD SPA POPPITÒ ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS ON CONTAINER.
- WHENEVER TOPPING WITH TAP WATER ADD THE RELATIVE AMOUNT OF START UP CHEMICAL BASED ON THE KEY ABOVE.
- READ ALL WARNING LABELS ON CHEMICAL CONTAINERS.
- NEVER MIX MORE THAN ONE CHEMICAL AT THE ONE TIME, AND ALWAYS ADD A CHEMICAL TO WATER.

Ozone Generators
KILL VIRUSES AND REDUCE RUNNING COSTS BY UPTO 90%
Many Spa Manufacturers supply a Ultra Violet (UV) style Ozone Generator to their customers. UV style Ozone Generators often supplied produce between 0.08 and 0.12 g/hr of Ozone. Some have a small internal pump inside them which runs for 24 hours a day, other Ozone generators inject Ozone only when the pump comes on. Ozone is a very powerful oxidiser yet harmless to humans when in small concentrations as produced by the aforementioned Ozone Generators. Ozone not only kills bugs and viruses but is extremely effective in the removal of soap residue, body fats and other contaminates, because of this Ozone Generators will extend the life of your sanitiser and can save up to 90% on your running costs.
Spa Owners still need to keep their water chemistry in balance when using Ozone, please refer to our sheet pertaining to the appropriate sanitiser used. Ozone Generators can be added to most spas after the spa has been commissioned.
